Product Purchases

Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale, and deliver the products. Customer lists are not sold or distributed to third parties. Credit card transactions are processed by Stripe. A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. This company utilize secure server technology. Only the purchase price and the credit card information given by the customer is supplied to Stripe. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their databases for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. North American Bigfoot Center does not maintain a copy of the credit card information on its servers. Purchases from vendors linked from the North American Bigfoot Center site (i.e., Amazon, etc.), are subject to that site’s privacy policy.

Mailing Lists

North American Bigfoot Center maintains subscription mailing lists. These lists are “opt-in” lists. This means that you must subscribe to these lists using your preferred email account, and you must confirm your subscription, via return email. Users are never subscribed to these mailing lists based on requesting information, making a purchase, or forgetting to uncheck a box during ordering. Every email sent out using North American Bigfoot Center’s mailing list, clearly identifies it’s self as the sender of the mail, and explains how to unsubscribe from the list at the bottom of the e-mail. You will use the same preferred email address that you initially entered to “opt-in.”
